Using the EU1000i Inverter Generator outdoors is best but powerful enough to be your standby power at home for little things like lights. This super quiet inverter generator uses a single cylinder 1.8 HP engine with a displacement of 50 cc. Voltage input is 120 Volts and voltage output is at 12 Volts. It has recoil as its starting system. Its fuel tank can hold 0.6 gallons of gasoline which runs for 3.8 hours on rated load and 8.3 hours if run on load capacity. It is 17.7 inches long, 9.4 inches wide and 15 inches tall, with a dry weight of 29 pounds. Since it is super quiet, it only produces 59 dB of noise running on rated load and 53 dB when on load.

Like all Honda Inverter Generators, the EU1000i is equipped with an Oil Alert System that causes the engine to automatically shut down once the oil reaches a critical low level. This will prevents further damages on the engine.

This generator is over looked all the time and most people prefer the EU2000i. It is a little more money for the EU2000i but at 29 lbs compared to 47 lbs the EU1000i is still ideal for picnics and camping.

It's a great way to get cheap lumber, or to make your own boards from local trees. The "secret" is how the mill is set-up. Using this method will minimize the number of adjustments needed on the mill attachment. In this video, the mill is set at 5 1/2 inches for all of the set-up cuts. It is then set to 1 1/2 inches, and finally 3/4 inch for the final cuts. The guide used on the log is 3 1/2 inches thick. Total time to mill this log in lumber was only 30 minutes.
